In order to enjoy the works of art and spaces of the museum in the best conditions of safety and in compliance with the sanitary guidelines in force, please respect the circulation proposed upon arrival. 
The museum staff is there to welcome you, guide you and guarantee you the best possible visit experience. Discover the works of art in exceptional conditions!

Due to the sanitary guidelines in force, everyone is asked to book their timed tickets online before arriving at the museum.
This is also valid for those who benefit from free admission (Lyon City Card, ICOM). 

An entrance ticket is required to access the garden, which is part of the museum's gauge. 

A special entrance ticket for the restaurant-tea room and the bookshop-boutique, free of charge, can be booked online, to access these two places.

Upon arrival at the museum, please produce your timed tickets, purchased online, on your smartphone or printed out. 

Visitors are welcomed at 20 place des Terreaux, 69001 Lyon.

Ticket control takes place inside the museum. Visitors who have booked a reduced fare ticket or a free ticket 
(Lyon City Card, under 18 years old) will have to show the proof of purchase at the control.

People with reduced mobility are welcome at 17, place des Terreaux, 69001 Lyon. 
The lifts are accessible to people with reduced mobility or who have difficulty accessing the stairs. 
Museum staff will provide assistance. Maximum capacity of 2 people per lift.

The museum is open from Wednesday to Monday from 10 am to 6 pm, Friday from 10:30 am to 6 pm. 
In order to respect the safety instructions for the staff, the chapel and the 1st floor of the collections 
(Antiquities, Decorative arts, Medals cabinet) are open from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm (Friday from 10:30 am to 6:00 pm) 
and the 2nd floor of the collections (Paintings, from the Primitives to the Impressionists) is open from 10:30 am to 6:00 pm (Friday from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm).

The modern collections are closed due to the  exhibition Picasso. Bathers, opening July 15.

Lockers are installed in the cloister. Luggage and big bags are not accepted.

The circulation in the museum is adapted to avoid crossings between visitors. Throughout your visit, you will be guided and informed by the museum's staff.
No paper documents, audiotours or tablets may be distributed.

The bookshop-boutique is open during the museum's opening hours.

Until July 13, the restaurant-tea room is open from Wednesday to Sunday from 12:00 to 18:00 with a drinks/tea room service (sweet mignardises). Closed on Monday and Tuesday.
