The museum of Fine Arts of Lyon welcomes you within the walls of a majestic Benedictine abbey. The 7 000 m² museum has 70 exhibition rooms which are home to outstanding collections of antique art, decorative arts from the Middle Ages to the 20th century, coins and medals, sculptures and paintings, including works by Perugino, Veronese, Rubens, Rembrandt, Poussin, Ingres, Renoir, Monet, Gauguin, Chagall, Matisse and Picasso.
